Faith Chronicles

A month of daily readings, written by Dr RJ Sing for his church every month from 2007 until his passing in 2024. Pastor Zubeda Sing wrote alongside him, and she continues them today. Each reading has its scripture, the teaching, a confession and the day's Bible reading plan.

In 2021 and 2022 he also wrote daily messages for believers in business and at work — the Marketplace, kept with the rest of his writing on his own site.

A Fruitful Tree

Pastor Zubeda Sing

“For he will be [nourished] like a tree planted by the waters, That spreads out its roots by the river; And will not fear the heat when it comes; But its leaves will be green and moist. And it will not be anxious and concerned in a year of drought Nor stop bearing fruit” Jeremiah 17v8

    More Than a Conqueror

“No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us. Romans 8:37(NLT) On the contrary, in the thick of these things, our triumph remains beyond dispute. His love has placed us above the reach of any onslaught of the enemy” Romans 8v37

A conqueror wins a battle; a thriver overwhelmingly triumphs in life.

    Rejecting the Scarcity Mindset

“Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do,” says the LORD of Heaven’s Armies, “I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test!” Malachi 3:10

Scarcity is a lie that says there is not enough (time, money, grace).

    God’s Way Not Our Way

“And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Take the rod, and gather thou the assembly together, thou, and Aaron thy brother, and speak ye unto the rock before their eyes; and it shall give forth his water, and thou shalt bring forth to them water out of the rock: so thou shalt give the congregation and their beasts drink. And Moses took the rod from before the LORD, as he commanded him. And Moses and Aaron gathered the congregation together before the rock, and he said unto them, Hear now, ye rebels; must we fetch you water out of this rock? And Moses lifted up his hand, and with his rod he smote the rock twice: and the water came out abundantly, and the congregation drank, and their beasts also” Num 20v7-11
