Born for Such a Time as This

“For if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this time, then shall there enlargement and deliverance arise to the Jews from another place; but thou and thy father’s house shall be destroyed: and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”
Esther was asked by Mordecai to go before the king and make a petition on behalf of the Jews. She had not been called by the king for more than a month so she was terrified just to go and make a petition. Mordecai let her know that if she did not do her part, God would use someone else, however she should consider the fact that perhaps, God had called her for such a time as this.
We are living in a day and age when God’s word is free and his presence is given to everyone of us. We were born for such a time as this. We are called to be witnesses. We are called to be the salt and the light to the world who is hungry for salvation. We are called to preach the gospel of grace.
The time and season we are born in, equips us and positions us to be the answer the world needs. You were born for such a time as this.
