The Principle of Identity – Part 3

So, welcome the friendly voice that does not attack and condemn you, but that honestly gives you hope by reminding you that God is there, powerful, loving and caring. Welcome the friendly message of the gospel that tells you that God created you to be exactly like Him; that your purpose is to be Him in action; that He so valued you that He paid an infinite price to redeem you from inferiority, deterioration and sin.

Once you understand this and accept it, God can share His life in and through you. You may be overwhelmed by this information. You may have thought you were a nobody. But God’s friendly voice encourages you to look beyond your humanity to His Love. Keep in focus the fact that all of the time that you were in shame, God kept right on loving you. He created you so that He could live in you.

Perhaps you never heard anyone tell you that you are like God. your conscience condemns you. Sermonizers threaten and frighten you. Your own habits and life-style undermine you. You may be alone, afraid and guilty. Now this friendly voice lifts you by reminding you of your origin in God, of your design for success and prosperity.
