Because we want you to have the best experience with our resources, we have established the following policy in accordance with the South African Consumer Protection Act (CPA) and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECTA).
1. Digital Products (eBooks & Digital Downloads)
Due to the nature of digital content, all sales of eBooks, digital downloads, and online resources are final.
No Refunds: Once a digital product has been purchased and the download link has been sent or accessed, we cannot offer a refund or exchange.
Technical Issues: If you experience difficulty downloading or accessing your file, please contact us at support@faithintheword.co.za within 48 hours of purchase, and we will ensure you receive a working copy.
2. Physical Books & Merchandise
2.1 Change of Heart (Cooling-off Period)
In terms of Section 44 of the ECTA, you are entitled to cancel your purchase of physical books within 7 days of receiving the items for any reason.
The items must be returned in their original, mint condition and unopened packaging.
You will be responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods to us (shipping/courier fees).
Once inspected and approved, we will refund the purchase price (excluding original shipping fees) within 30 days.
2.2 Defective or Damaged Items
If you receive a book that is damaged (e.g., torn pages, printing errors) or is the incorrect item:
Please notify us within 48 hours of delivery with a photo of the defect.
We will arrange for a collection or covers the cost of return shipping.
You may choose to have the item replaced at no extra cost or receive a full refund.
3. Non-Returnable Items
We cannot accept returns on:
Items marked as “Sale” or “Clearance.”
Books that show visible signs of use, writing, or wear.
Donations (Donations are considered voluntary gifts to the ministry and are non-refundable).
4. How to Initiate a Return
To start a return, please follow these steps:
- Email [support@faithintheword.co.za] with your Order Number and the reason for the return.
- Wait for a Return Authorization from our team.
- Securely pack the book to prevent damage during transit.

5. Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
Approved Refunds: Will be processed via the original payment method or via EFT into your designated bank account.
Processing Time: Please allow 7–10 business days for the funds to reflect in your account once the refund is approved.
