Rejecting the Scarcity Mindset

Pastor Zubeda Sing · 2 min read

“Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do,” says the LORD of Heaven’s Armies, “I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test!”
Malachi 3:10

Scarcity is a lie that says there is not enough (time, money, grace).

The Thriver challenges scarcity by firstfruits obedience (tithing/giving).

The open heavens prove God’s resources are limitless.

Scarcity is a lie that we need to reject right now in Jesus name. Why? It says to our mind and to our natural circumstances, that there is not enough of time, money or grace. We know by experience and by the word of God that has renewed our mind that there is more than enough available to us. Jesus came to give us more than enough in our everyday life.

The Thriver challenges scarcity and lack. How? The thriver is a partner with the kingdom of God. Thriver has a giver mindset. The moment money or seed comes in to the hand of the thriver, the first thought is sowing in to the kingdom of God. The Thriver’s mindset says, I put God first in everything in my life. The thriver is obedient to the word, but more than that, the Holy Spirit working in the thriver, constantly reminds him, that it is God and none other that has given him the power to get wealth. There is no fear of lack in the life of a thriver. He/she has experienced too much overflow and increase to even think of lack. Thinking of lack is like thinking of something unclean or undesirable. We cast down those thoughts, the word has first place and dwells richly in us.

As a thriver we know for certain that the windows of heaven are open over our lives and His resources are limitless. He owns the cattle on a thousand hills and the silver and the gold are His.
