7 Laws to a Successful Life Part 1

The partnership letter for July 2013

Greetings to all my precious Partners in Christ Jesus our Lord. This month I would like to share with you along the lines of ‘7 Laws to a Successful Life’ Part 1.

My Foundational Scriptures are Leviticus 26, Deuteronomy 28.

“1 Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in his commandments. 2 His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed. 3 Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth forever. 4 Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous. 5 A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion. 6 Surely he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance. 7 He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the Lord. 8 His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he see his desire upon his enemies. 9 He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn shall be exalted with honour. 10 The wicked shall see it, and be grieved; he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away: the desire of the wicked shall perish.”

Psalm 112:1-10

“1 Hear, ye children, the instruction of a father, and attend to know understanding. 2 For I give you good doctrine, forsake ye not my law. 3 For I was my father's son, tender and only beloved in the sight of my mother. 4 He taught me also, and said unto me, Let thine heart retain my words: keep my commandments, and live. 5 Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth. 6 Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee: love her, and she shall keep thee. 7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. 8 Exalt her, and she shall promote thee: she shall bring thee to honour, when thou dost embrace her. 9 She shall give to thine head an ornament of grace: a crown of glory shall she deliver to thee. 10 Hear, O my son, and receive my sayings; and the years of thy life shall be many. 11 I have taught thee in the way of wisdom; I have led thee in right paths. 12 When thou goest, thy steps shall not be straightened; and when thou runnest, thou shalt not stumble. 13 Take fast hold of instruction; let her not go: keep her; for she is thy life.”

Proverbs 4:1-13

Noah Webster’s 1828 Dictionary defines a law as that which is laid, set or fixed. A Law is a principle based on predictable consequences of an Act (So a certain act will yield a certain result) Another Definition is a rule, particularly an established or a permanent rule prescribed by the Supreme Power of a state to its subjects for regulating their actions, particularly their social actions.

In simplest terms, a law has power to govern. The laws of a natural government is subject to change. However, in the Kingdom, God’s laws, spiritual and natural, cannot be changed. (Example of a Natural law: The Law of Gravity)

The definition of the term Succeed, - to accomplish our aim, in the manner desired, to happen in the manner desired (the plan succeeded), to have a result according to a specified manner, to come after and take the place of, to come next in time of succession, follow after another in an office or a position.

Law # 1: The Law of Difference:

This is having the wisdom to be able to discern the difference. What makes you different from everyone else? What problems can you solve?

Law # 2: The Law of the Mind:

You must know how to focus the mind. Know how to rule the mind, to make the mind work for you. Learn to control the mind. Learn to be focused and to concentrate. Have a picture in your mind of what you want, and then go for it (Visualization); begin to ‘See It’ and have pictures up on your Wall.

Law # 3: The Law of 2:

We are in covenant with God. There is power in that Covenant. The Difference in Seasons, is a person. One person can change your life in 24 hours. All you need is one person to recognize what is special about you and to take you on and mentor you, to enter into Covenant with you. The question is? Who is that Person?

Law # 4: The Law of Recognition:

The thing you most need in life is there. It is just a matter of recognizing it. If there is something missing in your life, more than likely, there is something you are not seeing. Most of the time, its right in front of your face but you are so conditioned and so distracted, that you don’t see it. Question? What are you not seeing?

Law # 5: The Law of Honor:

Your future is determined by who you have chosen to honor. You must have a code of honor. Honor is a seed that will outlast a lifetime.

Law # 6: The Law of Place:

Where you are is as important as what you are. Jesus had to leave his hometown and preach elsewhere to be recognized. When you are where you belong your genius emerges. Re-location of any nature is an important decision. So it behooves us to consider whether we are where we need to be. If not, then where is that place?

Law # 7: The Law of the Seed:

Our offerings to God are seeds that produce a harvest. There are many types of seeds in our life. Honor is the seed for access. Kindness is a seed, Time is a seed, Love is a seed and Teaching is a seed.

This law also works in the financial arena as well. We must learn to reap what we sow. Expectation is an important and essential part of the equation. We must seed with expectation. If we expect a harvest of God, it shows faith in God. And Faith in God is confidence in God. An example is a farmer planting seed.

May God continue to richly bless you and your family. I pray for you daily and take pleasure in seeing you enjoy God’s blessings.

We Love you very much, Dr. Roshan and Pastor Zubeda Sing.

The Word of God Lives & Abides in You

“Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.” 1 Peter 1:23

You are Born-Again by the incorruptible seed. The word incorruptible means: honest, straight, upright, everlasting, imperishable and undecaying. You are not born by the will of man. The Bible emphatically says: “Which were born,…

“And Jesus sat over against the treasury, and beheld how the people cast money into the treasury: and many that were rich cast in much. 42 And there came a certain poor widow, and she threw in two mites, which make a farthing. 43 And he called unto him his disciples, and saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That this poor widow hath cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury: 44 For all they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living.” Mark 12:41- 44

“Jesus sat down opposite the place where the offerings were put and watched the crowd putting their money into the temple treasury. Many rich people threw in large amounts. But a poor widow came and put in two very small copper coins, worth only a fraction of a penny. Calling his disciples to him, Jesus said, "I tell you the truth, this poor widow has put more into the treasury than all the others. They all gave out of their wealth; but she, out of her poverty, put in everything--all she had to live on.” Mark 12:41-44

This teaching is now continued. The difference between her small offering and the offering of the rich was that she gave of everything. It cost her 100% commitment. This story of the poor widow…
