Hearing God in the Chaos

The prophet Elijah was in the midst of chaos, so much was wanted from him. He had some decisions to be made so he had to consult God in the midst of everything going on around him. He listened for the voice of God and there were various signs that came to him. In and through it all, He realized it was not the voice of God. He was acquainted with the voice of the Lord and his way of doing things. So, he waited and he listened. He needed to hear accurately because people were waiting on him. His decision was critical to the way forward. His obedience, to accurately hear, the still small voice of the Lord, brought the results necessary to deliver the people of God.

We are born again, blood washed and anointed. The spirit of the Lord is upon us and He has anointed us to heal the sick and raise the dead. In the midst of living this life, which is full of busyness and clutter, we need to allow the Holy Spirit to develop the skill in our life, to hear from him. In a business deal, in negotiations, in the market place, whatever it is, we will sense his voice and accurately discern what it is we have to do.

If you are not experiencing this, invite the Holy Spirit in to come and teach you. Your life will be made much easier. The Holy Spirit is your umpire who will lead you and guide you in the wisdom of Jesus to make wise choices in this life. You will master the skill of God decision making and enjoy good success in this life.
