A Reformed Heart
Pastor Zubeda Sing · 1 min read

“For from within, [that is] out the heart of men, come base and malevolent thoughts and schemes, acts of sexual immorality, thefts, murders, adulteries, acts of greed and covetousness, wickedness, deceit, unrestrained conduct, envy and jealousy, slander and profanity, arrogance and self-righteousness and foolishness (poor judgment)”
A heart that has been cleaned by the Holy Spirit does not have any of the above-mentioned vices in them. There comes a point where each individual will have to lay down every form of evil doing and thinking and allow the Holy Spirit to transform them into the men/women God has called them to be. The desire to be cleansed from all the evil works of darkness becomes so strong that the believer goes before the Father and asks him to remove every wicked thought or scheme to be removed. Actually, they become a person who hates evil, it feels that the evil makes them dirty and unworthy so they avoid it at all costs. Their main goal is to be transformed from the inside out. A reformed heart watches the company they keep as evil communication may corrupt them in some way.
The thriver welcomes a reformed heart as it transforms them from the inside out. This transformation becomes the evidence used to win souls to Christ. Their language is changed as their hearts are transformed.
From the September 2026 issue, themed THE HEART OF A THRIVER.
