The Blessing of Revelation of the Word
Pastor Zubeda Sing · 2 min read

“So he settled there for a year and six months, teaching them the word of God [concerning eternal salvation through faith in Christ]”
Paul took time in each place and preached the word of God, he then also taught the word steadily and diligently so that revelation would come and they would have an understanding of the ways of righteousness.
There are two ways that we can learn the word of God. Firstly, we learn the word from reading and studying the word and it becomes a part of our memory. This knowledge gives us knowledge that pertains to information. The second way is revelation. We first study and meditate on the word and then as we let the word sink into our hearts and minds we get a revelation of what the word actually means and then it becomes a part of our life, a part of our everyday working, talking living life. The first is logos, it is the letter of the word, the second is Rhema, where we actually get a living revelation of the word. The more Rhema we get, the more we grow in our walk with the Lord. The bible says, the word killeth but the spirit gives us life. it is the revelation of the word of God that we get a richer, fuller life. The bible is not a text book, it is the living word of God.
We have the blessing of Revelation available to us. We have to give ourselves to the study of the word of God and let the word, dwell in us richly. When the word is revealed, we will find that we live a healthier life because we repel sickness and disease. The word renews our youth, it would seem we get younger and younger. We are renewed in our minds when we get revelation of the word of God. The wisdom of God in our lives increases day by day through the word of God.
