The Blessing of God’s Guidance

“that He may guide our hearts to Himself, to walk in all His ways [following Him] and to keep His commandments, His statutes, and His precepts which He commanded our fathers”
God guides us in all of our ways. In this scripture Solomon was talking to his people and telling them about this great God. This great king who was blessed with the greatest wisdom ever given to man, tells his people, it is God who guides our hearts. It is God who leads us to walk in his ways.
When you are in a dilemma you can call on his name and he will show you the way to go. He will guide you to make the right decision and help you along your way. He has preplanned our ways. He knew us before the foundations of the earth. He has a specific plan for our lives and it delights his heart when we consult him about our plans. Proverbs says, commit thy way unto the Lord and he will direct your paths. What better protection can we enjoy than knowing that God guides and directs our steps. He works all things together for our good. Nothing just happens.
Are you in a place where you do not know what to do? Are you afraid to make a decision. Take time out to fast and pray and consult God on how to go forward in your life. He will guide you by his holy Spirit. He will show you the way to take and how to go about it. In some cases he may even send people your way to assist you, to make your way easier.
