Justice and Truth

What a privilege to have Jesus as our wisdom. What an honour for the Holy Spirit to train our tongue to speak justice and truth. We may have been people given to tell white lies or lean towards people for what we can get out of them. We may have had flaws that were so evident to all that we could not hide them. That may be so, but when the master and strategist of our lives, takes over, (The Holy Spirit) we begin the process of change. There is a metamorphosis that takes place. The word metamorphosis is a profound and relatively abrupt change that takes place in physical form, structure or character. Our change is not abrupt it is gradual as we yield to the change. There is no change to our physical form but our personality and character is transformed completely over time, the way we think and the way we respond to stimuli. Where we used to get angry quickly before, slowly over time we realise the things that used to irritate or frustrate us, no longer has that power over us. There is another power at work on our inner man. It is the same power that raised Christ from the dead. This is the transformation from the old man to the new man in Christ.

This change is not forced on you. God has given you the power of your will to make a change. It is something that takes place as you come to church and listen to the word. It happens in the secret place if you choose to commune with God. Please give yourself the time to spend with God and listen to his word so that your tongue gets a chance to become full of justice and truth. Our faith is forged in fire but our faith is more precious than pure gold. The confession of your tongue brings about the change even faster.

I challenge you, yield to God, it is so worth it.
