God Always Works His Plan for Our Lives

“But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive. Gen 50v20 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose”
Nothing just happens. God has plans for our lives and everything works together for our good. Even when we make bad decisions, God is able to turn it around. What we have to do is commit our way to the Lord and He will direct our path.
In the case of Joseph, he understood this. His brothers meant evil against him when they sold him to the Ishmaelites. God allowed it to happen so he could set him on course to go to Eygypt. He had to set a plan in motion that would prepare the way for his people. Joseph was the man selected to be the deliverer of his people. At the time of being in the pit, Joseph did not think so, nor did he think so in Potipher’s house, yet we know God was working in him, as he was enjoying favour and good success in Potipher’s house. Even in the prison, he won the favour of the jailer. He had access beyond the bars of the prison. God’s favour extended to the palace by sending the baker and the wine dispenser to the prison. What is it that our God cannot do.
He is forever working all things together for our good. We may not understand it. We may not see it, but know this, He is always working, always planning.
The footsteps of a righteous man is ordered of the Lord. He busies himself with his every step.
