Stay connected to your Source
The partnership letter for July 2016
Greetings to my precious partners in Christ. This month I would like to share with you on the subject of: Stay connected to your Source
“I am the vine, ye [are] the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.”
To be successful, you must have a daily dynamic personal prayer life with God. You need continual communion and fellowship with the source of your vision. God is the author of your life. He is also your continuing support as you progress towards fulfillment. Prayer is what keeps you connected to your vision giver. As you stay in touch with God, you will be nourished in life and journey.
Prayer sustains us in the demands of life:
- In the demands of life, there are times when you grow emotionally and spiritually weary.
- There are times you are pressed, criticized and opposed.
- Prayer and communion will sustain you and refresh you.
“Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform [it] until the day of Jesus Christ.”
Psalms 27:1 KJV “The LORD [is] my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD [is] the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
4. This is when you obtain the victory through prayer based on His word.
Allow God to refresh and rebuild your Faith.
As you pray you are refreshed and as you spend time in the word, you will say “I am ready to go again.” Prayer encourages you to get back in the fight. Isaiah 40.31 KJV “But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew [their] strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; [and] they shall walk, and not faint.” Allow God to strengthen you. Prayer is where you receive the ability to fight the good fight of faith.
Matthew 28.20 KJV “Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the end of the world. Amen.” Without prayer you cannot get to where you want to go.
What did Nehemiah do with his challenges?
- Nehemiah took all his challenges and enemies to God in a prayer.
- Nehemiah 6:14 KJV “My God, think thou upon Tobiah and Sanballat according to these their works, and on the prophetess Noadiah, and the rest of the prophets, that would have put me in fear.”
- God answered his prayer.
- God has invested himself in your dream, and he will bring it to pass.
- When people attack your dream, go to God.
- Some people dealing with you have “contaminated motives”
- Stay connected to your source for the renewal of purpose, faith and strength.
- God is the one who planted your life’s purpose within you in the beginning.
- He has invested himself in you and your dream and He will bring it to pass.
“The steps of a [good] man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth [him with] his hand.”
