The Word Works – Part 1
Dr RJ Sing · 1 min read
“So shall My word be that goes forth out of My mouth: it shall not return to Me void [without producing any effect, useless], but it shall accomplish that which I please and purpose, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.”
God’s word always works. His Word is quick and powerful (Hebrews 4:12.) God’s Word prevails and produces results in every circumstance. Matthew 24:35 KJV “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.” God is confident about the efficacy and immutability of His Word. You must commit yourself to the Word. Everything around you will begin to produce and will be fruitful.
We need to have absolute trust and confidence in God’s Word. The Word of God is a remedy to all of life’s challenges. Romans 4:3 KJV “For what does the Scripture say? Abraham believed in (trusted in) God, and it was credited to his account as righteousness (right living and right standing with God.)” This should make you joyful and this should cheer you up. You have something that can change every situation to put you over in life.
You must put the Word to work. The Word of God worked for the prophets of old and the Apostles. It produces a son for Abraham in his old age and it made king of David a shepherd boy. This should make you even more confident for you to daily, trust and live by God’s Word.
