Understanding Your Purpose – Part 11

“Don’t copy the behaviour and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will know what God wants you to do and you will know how good and pleasing and perfect his will really is.”
3. We bring Glory to God by becoming like Christ. 2 Corinthians 3:18 (NLT) “We can be mirrors that brightly reflect the glory of the Lord. And as the Spirit of the Lord works within us, we become more and more like him and reflect his glory even more.” Once we are born again, God wants us to grow into Spiritual Maturity that means, becoming like Jesus.
The more we develop our Christ like character, the more we bring glory to God. He gave us a new life and a new nature when we accepted Christ. Now for the rest of our lives, God wants us to continue the process to change your character.
4. Serving others with our gifts brings glory to God (1 Peter 4:10-11). Each one of us is uniquely designed by God with talents, gifts, skills and abilities. The way you are wired is not an accident. God did not give you abilities for selfish purposes. They were given to benefit others. So begin to use them for and begin to share your life.
