Theme for the monthI Am Abounding and Overflowing on Every side

Prosperity is a Covenant Issue

The partnership letter for May 2017

Dear Partner, I am so glad to have the opportunity to write to you. I want to first of all, take this opportunity to thank you and your family for being so diligent and prompt in your giving unto the Lord’s work. You have sown your Tithes and Offerings, Pledges, Building funds, Priestly offerings etc. and now that you have sown seed on the ground, it has no alternative but to break forth and yield a total Blessing in your life. This Blessing comes in many forms, but more than that, it can come into your hands in a way different to what you have anticipated.

Firstly, Thank You for being obedient to the Lord and secondly for being committed whole heartedly to the local vision of our church, Rhema Family Church, Durban. This is your spiritual home and as you sow, demand your breakthroughs and the things the devil is trying to keep away from you. You certainly have our agreement in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

This month I would like to share with you on the subject of: Prosperity is a Covenant Issue

My Scripture reference is as follows: Galatians 3:13-14 NLT “But Christ has rescued us from the curse pronounced by the law. When He was hung on the cross, He took upon Himself the curse for our wrongdoing. For it is written in the Scriptures, “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.” 14 Through Christ Jesus, God has Blessed the Gentiles with the same Blessing He promised to Abraham, so that we who are believers might receive the promised Holy Spirit through faith.”

The Subject of Prosperity is greatly misunderstood due to erroneous teachings. Prosperity means more than money and material assets, instead it involves success in every area of life. Christians can experience this total life Prosperity, they must understand and apply pressure to the Covenant they have with God.

When you obey God's commandments, you position yourself to live a prosperous life (See Deuteronomy 8:11-18) God is going to multiply you. Don't allow Pride to cause you to forget God. God has given you the power to get Wealth. Power is the ability or anointing to get results (wealth). There are several facets of the Anointing that are available to believers. When you keep your part of the Covenant by obeying God, He will give you an Anointing that will lead you to Wealth. If you are Born Again, you are the Seed of Abraham and have the right to the promises of God.

God made a commitment to Bless or empower Abraham. Abraham went to Egypt during a time of famine, however, he was rich in cattle, silver and gold. His riches can be attributed to the Blessing (empowerment to prosper) that was on his life. This Blessing is also on Abraham's seed. Jesus' death on the cross made a way for the Blessing of Abraham to come on the Gentiles. As a Christian you belong to Christ, therefore you are Abraham's seed and heir to the promise.

Prosperity is a Covenant Issue. God has to prosper you because of the Covenant He has established with you. God uses the Covenant to convince man that His Word is solid. Blood Covenants were the most powerful type of agreement known to man in Abraham's time. A Covenant can only be broken by death. Loyalty is born out of Covenant.

The Covenant God made with Abraham was a process. God showed up and made a promise to Abraham. Abraham questioned how he would know that God's promise would come to pass. God had a lengthy discussion with Abraham and established His Covenant with Him. God submitted His Word to that Covenant and He does the same today. Everything begins with the Word. The Purpose of the Covenant is to show man how loyal and faithful God is to His Word. Multiplication is part of the Covenant. The Father of Creation changed Abram's name to Abraham, the father of many nations.

Abraham was able to rest and trust in his Covenant with God when he was told he was to sacrifice his son, Isaac. Abraham had confidence in God's loyalty to His Word. Abraham had an image in his heart of God raising Isaac from the dead. In a Covenant relationship whatever one party is willing to do, the other party must be willing to do the same. Since Abraham was willing to sacrifice his only son, God sacrificed His Only Son, Jesus. To raise Jesus from the dead, God used the same covenant image Abraham had of Isaac being raised from the dead. A Covenant is the foundation for unshakable Faith. If you are a stranger to your Covenant, you are without hope and without God. (See Ephesians 2:11-12)

The only way to have God is through His Covenant. God cannot operate in the things of God without having first a promise and then covenant. When you keep the Covenant before God (in remembrance) He will move in your life.

May God continue to richly Bless you and your family. I pray for you daily and take pleasure in seeing God shower you with Supernatural Favor and Blessings in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ.

We love you very much and are constantly praying for your progress, success and promotion. From Dr. Roshan and Pastor Zubeda Sing.

    The Supernatural Life

“Asking God, the Glorious Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, to give you spiritual wisdom and insight so that you might grow in your knowledge of God. 18 I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the confident hope He has given to those He called—His Holy people who are His rich and glorious inheritance. 19 I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for us who believe Him. This is the same mighty power.” (Ephesians 1:17-19 – NLT)

Christianity is a life of the supernatural and God’s eternal purpose, is to experience this flow every day. As human beings we live our human lives normally. In the same way we are to…

When Faith Seems Weak, Stand Strong – Part 1

“A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. 12 Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. 13 For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places. 14Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm.” (Ephesians 6:10-13 – NLT)
