Faith to Live By – Part 2
Dr RJ Sing · 1 min read
“What is faith? It is the confident assurance that something we want is going to happen. It is the certainty that what we hope for is waiting for us, even though we cannot see it up ahead.”
You can also be justified by Faith. Justification is a legal term, to present what is called “Forensic explanation” of the Salvation, the Father has given to us, in Christ. For example: In all three languages, Hebrew, Greek and English, “A justified man, is one who has stood in the dock for sentencing, but has been pronounced innocent and therefore released from the charges that were laid against him.”
Faith is not a feeling that prayer is answered. It does not depend on feelings, emotions or various senses. Sense Faith is based on feelings and emotions. If you take this road, as the basis of faith, one will sooner or later be deceived. Faith should be based upon the Word of God regardless of any sense knowledge or feelings evidence.
Faith then, is the singular factor in the life of a man. It will ultimately determine the believer’s character and conduct and it is the fundamental fact of Christian experience, it is the beginning of all achievement for God. We are saved by faith and receive Salvation by Faith. You need to get Faith by, getting into God, know the Word of God, have Faith in God and don’t pray for Faith. Listen to good preaching, reject all bad preaching, obey the Word, exercise your Faith and yield to the Holy Spirit.
