When Faith Seems Weak, Stand Strong – Part 1

Dr RJ Sing · 2 min read

“A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. 12 Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. 13 For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places. 14Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm.”
(Ephesians 6:10-13 – NLT)

One of the greatest errors in the Christian world is to accept any opposition to answered prayer or any delay in answers to prayer. It is the will of God to answer prayer and grant us what we asked. For example, the woman with an insane boy. There is no Scriptural basis for such argument. This is a classic example of plain deception, by the devil. The devil robs God of Glory and by deception keeps people in bondage.

If we are ever to get to a place where we can receive answers to prayer, we may as well learn what to do and intelligently proceed according to our knowledge. The devil knows each person and he will wage spiritual war against each one to keep that person from getting what he wants from God, he will stop at nothing to gain his end.

Satan sometimes has the edge on us because we have natural tendencies to live in selfishness, doubt and unbelief and sometimes the unbelievers seem to have everything going for them, yet they are already in his camp.
