Winning Life’s Battles – Part 6

Dr RJ Sing · 1 min read

“Don't fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns.”
(Philippians 4:6 – MSG)

Luke 17:12-13 MSG “As He entered a village, ten men, all lepers, met Him. They kept their distance 13 but raised their voices, calling out, "Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!” Jesus was never moved by natural circumstances. He told the lepers to show themselves to the priest (lepers were required to show that they had been healed of the disease). And it came to pass that, as they went, they were cleansed (Luke 17:14).

It is important that we do what the Lord tells us to do because we never know how our healing will manifest. “And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God, and fell down on his face at His feet giving thanks” (Luke 17:15-16).

John 6:5 AMP “Jesus looked up then, and seeing that a vast multitude was coming toward Him, He said to Philip, Where are we to buy bread, so that all these people may eat?” There were about 20,000 people there, including the women and children (John 6:6-11). The only food available was a boy’s meal, which consisted of two small fish and five loaves of bread. However, Jesus gave thanks for what they had. When we thank God for what we do have, we move from not enough to more than enough.
