Be Part of the Solution

Dr RJ Sing · 1 min read

“Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send? And who will go for Us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.”
(Isaiah 6:8 – AMP)

Make every effort to be part of the solution. For example, when the service starts, there are not enough people to help in children’s church, the car park, security and so forth. Be the sons and daughters in the ministry to solve problems.

People need you when they need you and where they need you, even if it is not convenient for you. If you are needed right now, it does not help if you offer help two weeks from now. Some folks volunteer but they will specify what they are not prepared to do or they may say we will get involved in the future. Some say, ‘I like to stay in the background’. That is nothing but religious thinking.

This type of thinking keeps you neutral. That is not solving immediate problems. Problem solvers are usually ones who end up getting promoted. Why is that? Because they are relieving stress on their Pastor by solving a problem. God can and will promote you when you are part of the answer, and not the problem.
