God Will Promote You

“For not from the east nor from the west nor from the south come promotion and lifting up. 7 But God is the Judge! He puts down one and lifts up another.”
Be open to help in church in whatever position there is available. This is sowing seeds for your future. If you sow seeds of faithfulness you will reap faithful people to help you in the future. You probably won’t start out where you desire to ultimately be, but if you remain faithful God will promote you. Make yourself available at any place there is a need and this could even include cleaning the restrooms.
If there is a need in the church, try your best to fill it. Begin to be part of the solution. You will be remembered in life either by the problems you solve for others or by the ones you create.
Just think about it. Even at work we are rewarded by solving problems. Surgeons solve physical problems, accountants solve tax problems, judges solve legal problems, and bus drivers solve transportation problems and so forth. Everywhere you go, you are either creating or solving a problem. You want your Pastor to notice you for the problems you solve not the ones you create.
