Faith Chronicles

A month of daily readings, written by Dr RJ Sing for his church every month from 2007 until his passing in 2024. Pastor Zubeda Sing wrote alongside him, and she continues them today. Each reading has its scripture, the teaching, a confession and the day's Bible reading plan.

In 2021 and 2022 he also wrote daily messages for believers in business and at work — the Marketplace, kept with the rest of his writing on his own site.

The Fruit of Joy

Pastor Zubeda Sing

“Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling or falling into sin, and to present you unblemished [blameless and faultless] in the presence of His glory with triumphant joy and unspeakable delight, to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, and power, before all time and now and forever. Amen.” Jude 1v24-25

    Abiding in Jesus

“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.” (John 15:5 – NKJV)

The Vine is Divine. The branches are divine human beings. God was incarnate in the flesh, in the person of Christ. We are partakers of the Divine Nature. We are actual members of the…

Agreeing with God – Part 2

“Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” 6 So we may boldly say: “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?” (Hebrews 13: 5-6 – NKJV)

You must agree with God that you are what the Word says you are. You therefore must disagree with your sense realm and the devil. You disagree with what you see and hear in…

Agreeing with God – Part 1

“Do two walk together except they make an appointment and have agreed?” (Amos 3:3 – AMP)

Many people are sincere and love God. They endeavor to please Him and try to do the best they can. However, we seem to miss God in the simple things. What do I mean…

    A More Excellent Name

“The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven. 4 So he became as much superior to the angels as the name he has inherited is superior to theirs.” (Hebrews 1:3-4 – NIV)

Jesus received greatness of His Name after the resurrection from the dead. He inherited His Name when He was made alive out of spiritual death. – Acts 13:33. It was after His resurrection that…

    The Power of Confession

“That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” (Romans 10:9-10 – NKJV)

The moment we believe, we are to speak and confess what has been revealed to us. 2 Corinthians 4:13 NKJV “And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written,…

    Living by the Word

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.” (John 1:1-3 – NKJV)

The revelation of the New Creation is found in God’s Word. God’s Word reveals our position in Him. God’s Word also reveals Jesus to us. Now, the New Creation Man has to adopt a…

    Clothed with God’s Ability

“And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues.” (Mark 16:17 – NKJV)

We are clothed with God’s power and ability. 2 Corinthians 3:4-5 NKJV “And we have such trust through Christ toward God. Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being…

    Your Spirit Must Be Developed

“That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints.” (Ephesians 1: 17 – 18 – NKJV)

Let us look at the meaning of Developed: To come or bring to a later or more advanced or expanded stage: grow or cause to grow more gradually; work out in detail. To disclose…

We Are from a Supernatural Class

“And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual people but as to carnal, as to babes in Christ. 2 I fed you with milk and not with solid food; for until now you were not able to receive it, and even now you are still not able; 3 for you are still carnal. For where there are envy, strife, and divisions among you, are you not carnal and behaving like mere men? 4 For when one says, “I am of Paul,” and another, “I am of Apollos,” are you not carnal?” (1Corinthians 3:1-4 – NKJV)

The Corinthian’s were living in the realm of the senses. They had never developed their recreated spirit and Paul had to address them on their level. When a believer is born again, he has…

Meditate upon These Things – Part 3

“Their minds are dull and stupid, but I have sense enough to follow you.” (Psalm 119:70)

What does it mean to imagine? As we meditate on God’s Word, imaginations are released in our spirit. Images begin to form, because we have been feeding ourselves on a steady diet of God’s…

Meditate upon These Things – Part 2

“As for me, this is my covenant with them,” says the Lord. “My Spirit, who is on you, will not depart from you, and my words that I have put in your mouth will always be on your lips, on the lips of your children and on the lips of their descendants—from this time on and forever,” says the Lord.” (Isaiah 59:21 – NIV)

As we think and meditate on God’s Word, we will change not only ourselves but our environment. As the new creation man meditates on God’s Word, a transformation takes place. “Blessed is the one…

Meditate upon These Things – Part 1

“Meditate on these things; give yourself entirely to them, that your progress may be evident to all.” (1 Timothy 4:15 – NKJV)

To meditate means to give the Word of God our full attention. We repeat them over and over, till it becomes part of our consciousness. As we meditate on God’s Word, a metamorphosis takes…
