Your Spirit Must Be Developed

“That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints.”
Let us look at the meaning of Developed: To come or bring to a later or more advanced or expanded stage: grow or cause to grow more gradually; work out in detail. To disclose or unfold (thoughts, plots) etc. Gradually or to be Gradually Disclosed or unfolded.
The Heart is called the ‘Inward Man’. Romans 7:22 NKJV “For I delight in the law of God according to the inward man.” and in 1 Peter 3:4 NKJV it is the hidden man of the heart, “Rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God.”
Man is a spirit being and the part of him that is spiritually dead is his spirit. After he is born again his spirit man must be educated, trained and developed. When your spirit becomes strong and vigorous in the Word, your faith and love becomes strong. As long as you walk in the senses, you walk as a mere man and as though you have not received eternal life. As you develop your spirit man you will begin to accomplish great things supernaturally. The Life of God will flow out of your spirit and you will do great things in life.
