Meditate upon These Things – Part 3

Dr RJ Sing · 1 min read

“Their minds are dull and stupid, but I have sense enough to follow you.”
(Psalm 119:70)

What does it mean to imagine? As we meditate on God’s Word, imaginations are released in our spirit. Images begin to form, because we have been feeding ourselves on a steady diet of God’s Word. We begin to think the thoughts of God.

His thoughts now become our thoughts. His ways now become our ways. Prior to this, His ways and thoughts were not ours. But not anymore, the New Creation Man, he has the mind of Christ. He knows the voice of the Master. He is no longer in confusion. 1 Corinthians 1:30 NKJV “But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption.”

All the riches of salvation exist in Christ Jesus. Wisdom is not merely the acquisition of intellectual skills, but the gaining of spiritual discernment based on the Wisdom of God as demonstrated on the cross. So, as you delight in God’s Word and give the Word of God first place, things will begin to work for your good.

Remember that God’s Word never fails and will accomplish all that it was sent out to accomplish. God’s Word never fails. Let your confidence grow in the Word of God.
