Agreeing with God – Part 1

Dr RJ Sing · 1 min read

“Do two walk together except they make an appointment and have agreed?”
(Amos 3:3 – AMP)

Many people are sincere and love God. They endeavor to please Him and try to do the best they can. However, we seem to miss God in the simple things. What do I mean by this? Well the answer is quite simple. You do not agree with God when you fail to speak and confess what His Word says.

Anytime you fail to speak His Word, you actually disagree with God. To agree with God, is to say the same thing God says in His Word about healing, salvation, etc. You therefore must start to agree with the Word. As you agree with the Word, you agree with God. You now begin to walk in harmony with the Word. When you agree with God, it simply means you are walking in faith and not by sight.

Hebrews 11:5-6 NKJV “By faith Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death, “and was not found, because God had taken him”; for before he was taken he had this testimony, that he pleased God. 6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” The Bible tells us that Enoch walked with God. Genesis 5:24 NKJV “And Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him.”
