Faith Chronicles

A month of daily readings, written by Dr RJ Sing for his church every month from 2007 until his passing in 2024. Pastor Zubeda Sing wrote alongside him, and she continues them today. Each reading has its scripture, the teaching, a confession and the day's Bible reading plan.

In 2021 and 2022 he also wrote daily messages for believers in business and at work — the Marketplace, kept with the rest of his writing on his own site.

The Fruit of Love

Pastor Zubeda Sing

“But the fruit of the Spirit [the result of His presence within us] is love [unselfish concern for others], joy, [inner] peace, patience [not the ability to wait, but how we act while waiting], kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such things there is no law” Galatians 5v22-23

Jesus Spoke to the Fig Tree (1)

“And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter forever. And his disciples heard [it].” Mark 11:14

“And it obeyed the voice of the Master”. Many people miss out on a successful and victorious life because of the kind of words they speak. They have not come to a point in…

    Agreeing with God (2)

“[Let your] conversation [be] without covetousness; [and be] content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord [is] my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.” Hebrews 13: 5 – 6

You must agree with God that you are what the Word says you are. You therefore must disagree with your sense realm and the devil. You disagree with what you see and hear in…

    Agreeing with God (1)

“Can two walk together, except they be agreed?” Amos 3:3

Many people are sincere and love God. They endeavour to please Him and try to do the best they can. However, we seem to miss God in the simple things. What do I mean…

    Have Faith in God

“And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, what things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them and ye shall have them.” Mark 11: 22-24

It is so important to declare God’s Word. Many well meaning Christians miss it right here. They think it is a waste of time or just plain silly to declare God’s Word out aloud.…

    Meditate upon These Things (3)

“… But I delight in thy law.”

What does it mean to imagine. As we meditate on God’s Word, imaginations are released in our spirit. Images begin to form, because we have been feeding ourselves on a steady diet of God’s…

    Meditate upon These Things (2)

“As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the LORD; My spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed's seed, saith the LORD, from henceforth and forever.” Isaiah 59:21

As we think and meditate on God’s Word, we will change not only ourselves but our environment. As the new creation man meditates on God’s Word, a transformation takes place. *“Blessed is the man…

    Meditate upon These Things (1):

“Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.” 1 Timothy 4:15

To meditate means to give the Word of God our full attention. We repeat them over and over, till it becomes part of our consciousness. As we meditate on God’s Word, a metamorphosis takes…

    Dare to Declare (4)

“My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments. For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee. Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart.” Proverbs 3:1 – 3

The three acts in Proverbs 3:3 are the three secrets for obtaining favor with God and man. No.1, Let not mercy and truth forsake you. No.2, Bind them around your neck and No.3, Write…

    Dare to Declare (3)

“Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated [us] into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, [even] the forgiveness of sins.” Colossians 1:13-14

This is bold confession. A confession that is radical and militant. When you take this type of stand you become a mighty warrior. This is carrying war over to the enemy’s tent. This is…

    Dare to Declare (2)

“Fear thou not; for I [am] with thee: be not dismayed; for I [am] thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” Isaiah 41:10

You have to read this scripture and take hold of it. You have to say, ‘This is mine’. You have to confess it before the world. What a life! You have to speak the…

    Dare to Declare (1)

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9

Many think that silence is golden but that is not true when it comes to the born again life. You have to speak out what you believe. In other words, confession of your faith…

    A Wholesome Tongue

“The mouth of the just bringeth forth wisdom: but the froward tongue shall be cut out.” Proverbs 10:31

The tongue is a little member that boasts great things. The tongue is also described as a fire, a world of iniquity that defiles the whole body. Now, to the New Creation man it…
