A Wholesome Tongue

“The mouth of the just bringeth forth wisdom: but the froward tongue shall be cut out.”
The tongue is a little member that boasts great things. The tongue is also described as a fire, a world of iniquity that defiles the whole body. Now, to the New Creation man it is different. He uses his tongue to bless God. The New creation man uses his tongue to engage in good conversation and not bitter strife.
The New Creation man understands the power of words. He understands that he must use his tongue to bless God and humanity. He understands that he charters his course using his tongue, his mouth and his words. *Psalms 45:1, “To the chief Musician upon Shoshannim, for the sons of Korah, Maschil, A Song of loves. My heart is inditing a good matter.”*
The New Creation Man uses his tongue to write on the canvas of his heart the words and promises in God’s Word. In this way he charters his course and journey in life. He does not use idle or unproductive words. He does not use words that are inoperative. No, he has a specific direction. He then uses his tongue and his words to speak the New Creation Language. It is the Language of the Word of God that flows out of his inner being. It is the language of the Word of God, anointed by God’s Spirit.
