“Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated [us] into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, [even] the forgiveness of sins.”
This is bold confession. A confession that is radical and militant. When you take this type of stand you become a mighty warrior. This is carrying war over to the enemy’s tent. This is declaring war over doubt, defeat and failure. This is where you take a hold of the mighty promises of God and make warfare. Here we see clearly that God has delivered us from the authority of satan.
We are delivered from the authority of darkness. You are now a child of the light. You are no longer in darkness. To live in darkness means that you lack assurance and that your walk is hesitant. This is not your life. The born again Christian walks with boldness. He walks with full assurance. Hence, the New Creation being walks in full light.
There is no more confusion in your life. The power of darkness no longer exists in your life. As a child of the light, you now walk in the light. You now live and function in the Kingdom of God’s dear Son, our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Further, the above scripture also declares that you have redemption through His Blood and the forgiveness of sins. This is marvelous. What a privilege to be a child of God. Be bold to declare these things over your life everyday.
