The Fruit of Love

“But the fruit of the Spirit [the result of His presence within us] is love [unselfish concern for others], joy, [inner] peace, patience [not the ability to wait, but how we act while waiting], kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such things there is no law”
A flourishing tree brims with life. A person who is flourishing in their life shines with the love of God. The love of God is shed abroad our hearts by the Holy Spirit, so a life of a believer starts with the advantage of the love of the Spirit of God. The love of God is free from fear as the word of God says, perfect love casts out all fear.
The spirit of love has to be embraced in our lives. We have to make a choice to allow the Holy Spirit to let this love overflow in our hearts so we can spill this over into the relationships of family and work colleagues. This love does not notice the wrong of others, it overlooks an offense and looks beyond the fault of others. This is the love we need to walk in daily. This love heals our hearts and removes every brokenness.
A thriver cherishes this spirit of love and allows the Holy Spirit to contually develop their love walk.
