Meditate upon These Things (2)

“As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the LORD; My spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed's seed, saith the LORD, from henceforth and forever.”
As we think and meditate on God’s Word, we will change not only ourselves but our environment. As the new creation man meditates on God’s Word, a transformation takes place. *“Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.” Psalm 1:1-3.*
The Hebrew word for meditate means to “mutter”. As we mutter, we declare God’s Word over and over again. This releases the Power of God’s Word in our Lives. The Word of God is now heavily impressed on our minds, that it becomes part of us. Praise the Lord! Remember that wherever you go, God’s Spirit is with you. His Spirit will guide you and the Word of God will direct you. So you cannot fail or stumble. You are a child of the light and not a product of darkness.
