Faith Chronicles

A month of daily readings, written by Dr RJ Sing for his church every month from 2007 until his passing in 2024. Pastor Zubeda Sing wrote alongside him, and she continues them today. Each reading has its scripture, the teaching, a confession and the day's Bible reading plan.

In 2021 and 2022 he also wrote daily messages for believers in business and at work — the Marketplace, kept with the rest of his writing on his own site.

The Fruit of Joy

Pastor Zubeda Sing

“Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling or falling into sin, and to present you unblemished [blameless and faultless] in the presence of His glory with triumphant joy and unspeakable delight, to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, and power, before all time and now and forever. Amen.” Jude 1v24-25

    God, My Mighty Creator (Elohim)

“In the beginning God (Elohim) created [by forming from nothing] the heavens and the earth.” (Genesis 1:1 – AMP)

It is vital that we properly manage the financial resources with which we have been Blessed, and not allow the act of giving to be an issue at all. The Apostle Paul had plenty…

    Have Faith in God

“In reply Jesus said to the disciples, "23 If you only have faith in God this is the absolute truth you can say to this Mount of Olives, `Rise up and fall into the Mediterranean, 'and your command will be obeyed. All that's required is that you really believe and have no doubt! 24 Listen to me! You can pray for anything, and if you believe, you have it; it's yours!” (Mark 11: 22-24)

It is so important to declare God’s Word. Many well-meaning Christians miss it right here. They think it is a waste of time or just plain silly to declare God’s Word out aloud. No!…

    Prostration

“The twenty- four Elders fell down before him and worshiped him, the Eternal Living One, and cast their crowns before the throne, singing.” (Revelation 4:10)

The Presence of the Lord can become so tangible and real that it overwhelms you. This causes us to fall prostrate at the Lord’s feet and worship Him. Daniel’s experience, When Daniel saw a…

    Dancing in the Spirit

“Praise his name with dancing, accompanied by drums and lyre.” (Psalms 149:3)

Dancing before the Lord is also a most Holy practice. The Word of God also instructs us to praise Him with the timbrel and dance. Psalms 150:4, “Praise him with the drums and dancing.…

The Clapping of Hands and Loud Shouting

“Come, everyone, and clap for joy! Shout triumphant praises to the Lord.” (Psalms 47:1)

The world practices the clapping of hands, but in reality, it is a Holy practice. We should practice the clapping of hands during our singing, worship, praise, etc. in adoration and appreciation to our…

    Lifting Up Holy Hands

“So I want men everywhere to pray with holy hands lifted up to God, free from sin and anger and resentment.” (1 Timothy 2:8)

During our Church services, there should be demonstrations and manifestations of the Spirit. This is normal. As sons, of the Most High God, we are to praise and lift up our hands to God.…

    Prophesying

“I wish you all had the gift of "speaking in tongues," but even more I wish you were all able to prophesy, preaching God's messages, for that is a greater and more useful power than to speak in unknown languages unless, of course, you can tell everyone afterwards what you were saying, so that they can get some good out of it too.” (1 Corinthians 14:5)

This is part of worship and part of the service in a Spirit filled Church. (See 1 Corinthians 14:31) Speaking forth under the unction of the Holy Spirit should be normal. Whether it be…

    Individual Prayer

“Then all the believers united in this prayer: O Lord, Creator of heaven and earth and of the sea and everything in them.” (Acts 4:24)

This is also very important. A time set aside for private or individual prayer. This is where you pour out your heart to God in prayer. Revelation 19:6 “Then I heard again what sounded…

    Singing in the Spirit

“Don't drink too much wine, for many evils lie along that path; be filled instead with the Holy Spirit and controlled by him. 19 Talk with each other much about the Lord, quoting psalms and hymns and singing sacred songs, making music in your hearts to the Lord.” (Ephesians 5:18-19)

This is very spiritual and you must sing in the Holy Spirit. As you sing, you sing unto the Lord. It is the outflow of the spirit filled experience. This is not singing to…

    Praying in the Holy Ghost

“But you, dear friends, must build up your lives ever more strongly upon the foundation of our holy faith, learning to pray in the power and strength of the Holy Spirit.” (Jude 1:20)

Public prayer is a vital part of public worship. This is where the Holy Spirit takes hold of yielded vessels and prays through them. As we yield our thoughts and ways, we begin to…

Preaching Under the Inspiration and Influence of the Holy Ghost

“For our [preaching of the] glad tidings (the Gospel) came to you not only in word, but also in [its own inherent] power and in the Holy Spirit and with great conviction and absolute certainty [on our part]. You know what kind of men we proved [ourselves] to be among you for your good.” (1 Thessalonians 1:5 AMP)

This is where the preacher does not depend on the wisdom of man. Now, the Gospel is preached with power at the leading of the Holy Spirit. 1 Thessalonians 1:6 AMP “And you [set…

    The Body of Christ

“For by [means of the personal agency of] one [Holy] Spirit we were all, whether Jews or Greeks, slaves or free, baptized [and by baptism united together] into one body, and all made to drink of one [Holy] Spirit.” (1 Corinthians 12:13 – AMP)

When Christians get together, this group then is the body of Christ. 1 Corinthians 12:27 “Now here is what I am trying to say: All of you together are the one body of Christ,…
