Lifting Up Holy Hands
Dr RJ Sing · 1 min read
“So I want men everywhere to pray with holy hands lifted up to God, free from sin and anger and resentment.”
During our Church services, there should be demonstrations and manifestations of the Spirit. This is normal. As sons, of the Most High God, we are to praise and lift up our hands to God. Psalms 141:2, “Regard my prayer as my evening sacrifice and as incense wafting up to you.”
Psalms 134:2, “Lift your hands in holiness and bless the Lord.” This is an expression of yielding to our God. Lifting up Holy hands expressing ourselves to Him, not being ashamed. This is most Holy. We are to lead audibly in public prayer. When the scripture declares, “lifting up holy hands”, it really refers to us having a pure life, which is without wrath and doubting.
This is our act of love and worship to the Most High God. To lift up Holy hands and praise His wonderful Name. So as you gather for worship and celebration do not be afraid to lift up your hands and worship God. As you do this, your spirit will respond and you will transfer to higher levels in your walk with God.
