Faith Chronicles

A month of daily readings, written by Dr RJ Sing for his church every month from 2007 until his passing in 2024. Pastor Zubeda Sing wrote alongside him, and she continues them today. Each reading has its scripture, the teaching, a confession and the day's Bible reading plan.

In 2021 and 2022 he also wrote daily messages for believers in business and at work — the Marketplace, kept with the rest of his writing on his own site.

A Fruitful Tree

Pastor Zubeda Sing

Life Rooted in God (Part 2)

“Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: 16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him” Colossians 1:15-16

Jesus upholds all things ‘By the Word of His Power’ God’s Power is released in you when you stay alive with His Word. When God created plants, He called them forth from the soil,…

Life Rooted in God (Part 1)

“ 18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.” 2 Corinthians 5:18-19

We have been given the responsibility to share the message of the Gospel with the whole World. If you cut yourself from God, your potential is aborted. You cannot plant yourself in anything but…

    A Hundred Fold Christian

“And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred.” Mark 4:20

    Walking in Humility!

“Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all [of you] be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble” 1 Peter 5:5

Three basic factors contribute to the destruction of a society; when people become ‘arrogant, overfed and unconcerned’ (Ezekiel 16:49) Sodom was destroyed for these three things. When a people become proud, their high minds…

    Receive Instruction!

“Open rebuke [is] better than secret love” Proverbs 27:5

    Confidence in Him!

“Wherefore the LORD God of Israel saith, I said indeed [that] thy house, and the house of thy father, should walk before me for ever: but now the LORD saith, Be it far from me; for them that honour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed.” 1 Samuel 2:30

Eli had a hard time disciplining his sons because he was more concerned about their opinion of him than God’s opinion of him. God said to him, ‘Those who honor me I will honor’…

    Choose God’s Way!

“And Amaziah said to the man of God, But what shall we do for the hundred talents which I have given to the army of Israel? And the man of God answered, The LORD is able to give thee much more than this.” 2 Chronicles 25:9

Amaziah learned the lesson of unquestioning obedience (2 Chronicles 25:9) He had already invested 100 talents of silver to hire ungodly mercenary troops from Israel for help in the battle against Edom. Then the…

    Passing God’s Tests!

Everyone goes through a process of proving and testing. Jesus taught that the seed falls on various types of ground, each type representing the human heart. Each of us will be tested to see…
