Faith Chronicles

A month of daily readings, written by Dr RJ Sing for his church every month from 2007 until his passing in 2024. Pastor Zubeda Sing wrote alongside him, and she continues them today. Each reading has its scripture, the teaching, a confession and the day's Bible reading plan.

In 2021 and 2022 he also wrote daily messages for believers in business and at work — the Marketplace, kept with the rest of his writing on his own site.

Strength in Joy

Pastor Zubeda Sing

“Then he said to them, “Go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet, and send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. Do not sorrow, for the joy of the LORD is your strength.” Nehemiah 8v10

Understanding Your Purpose – Part 1

“Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will know what God wants you to do and you will know how good and pleasing and perfect his will really is.” Romans 12:2 – NLT

If you want to know your purpose, begin with God and not with yourself. It all starts with God and it's not about you. The purpose of your life is far greater than your…

    God’s Righteousness

“For God took the sinless Christ and poured into him our sins. Then, in exchange, he poured God's goodness into us!” 2 Corinthians 5:21

God made Jesus, who knew no sin, to be sin for us, that we might be made the righteousness of God in Jesus. There was an exchange that took place. Jesus was made sin…

Expect Your Miracle – Part 5

“When Jesus then lifted up his eyes, and saw a great company come unto him, he saith unto Philip, Whence shall we buy bread, that these may eat? 6 And this he said to prove him: for he himself knew what he would do. 7 Philip answered him, Two hundred pennyworth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may take a little. 8 One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, saith unto him, 9 There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many?” John 6:5-9 – KJV

The third element is to kick doubt out. Once you have believed and acted on your faith, refuse doubt and fear. Refuse to entertain doubt producing thoughts. You deserve a miracle and what Jesus…

Expect Your Miracle – Part 4

“When Jesus then lifted up his eyes, and saw a great company come unto him, he saith unto Philip, Whence shall we buy bread, that these may eat? 6 And this he said to prove him: for he himself knew what he would do. 7 Philip answered him, Two hundred pennyworth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may take a little. 8 One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, saith unto him, 9 There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many?” John 6:5-9 – KJV

The second element is to just do. Faith is important but as important as faith is, it’s not enough. You can’t believe on the inside and do nothing on the outside. For faith to…

Expect Your Miracle – Part 3

“When Jesus then lifted up his eyes, and saw a great company come unto him, he saith unto Philip, Whence shall we buy bread, that these may eat? 6 And this he said to prove him: for he himself knew what he would do. 7 Philip answered him, Two hundred pennyworth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may take a little. 8 One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, saith unto him, 9 There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many?” John 6:5-9 – KJV

The first element is Faith. Faith in God connects Heaven with a need on earth. Someone must believe that God is willing and able to do it and to do it now. Galatians 3:5…

Expect your miracles in the days and months to come. Once you agree with heaven, God goes into action. We must remain in faith and the Word of God. Matthew 19:26 KJV “With men…

Your Life Is Full of Light

“The teaching of your word gives light, so even the simple can understand.” Psalm 119:130 – NLT

The first part of the above verse clearly states, “The entrance of thy Words giveth light.” This phrase suggests that when somebody sits under the preaching of the word, light should come. God’s revelation…

God’s Nature Is Favor to Others

“Now we are no longer slaves but God's own sons. And since we are His sons, everything He has belongs to us, for that is the way God planned. 8Before you Gentiles knew God you were slaves to so-called gods that did not even exist.” Galatians 4:7-8

You are made in God’s image. Through Christ Jesus you have the ability to favor others and receive favor from others. You are an heir through Jesus Christ. “And since we are his children,…

    Inspiration of the Holy Ghost

“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.” 2 Timothy 3:16-17 – KJV

Holy men of God spoke as the Holy Spirit inspired them. Therefore, the Scriptures (the Word of God) came by the Will of God. “For no prophecy recorded in Scripture was ever thought up…
