Faith Chronicles

A month of daily readings, written by Dr RJ Sing for his church every month from 2007 until his passing in 2024. Pastor Zubeda Sing wrote alongside him, and she continues them today. Each reading has its scripture, the teaching, a confession and the day's Bible reading plan.

In 2021 and 2022 he also wrote daily messages for believers in business and at work — the Marketplace, kept with the rest of his writing on his own site.

The Fruit of Love

Pastor Zubeda Sing

“But the fruit of the Spirit [the result of His presence within us] is love [unselfish concern for others], joy, [inner] peace, patience [not the ability to wait, but how we act while waiting], kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such things there is no law” Galatians 5v22-23

    Kingdom Thinking – Part 3

“Let this same attitude and purpose and [humble] mind be in you which was in Christ Jesus: [Let Him be your example in humility:] 6 Who, although being essentially one with God and in the form of God [possessing the fullness of the attributes which make God God], did not think this equality with God was a thing to be eagerly grasped or retained.” (Philippians 2:5-6 – AMP)

    2. Casting out devils – Strongholds can grow and turn into demonic activity in a person’s life, therefore, we have to know how to deal with the devil. Mark 16:17 NKJV “And these signs…

    Kingdom Thinking – Part 2

“Let this same attitude and purpose and [humble] mind be in you which was in Christ Jesus: [Let Him be your example in humility:] 6 Who, although being essentially one with God and in the form of God [possessing the fullness of the attributes which make God God], did not think this equality with God was a thing to be eagerly grasped or retained.” (Philippians 2:5-6 – AMP)

What is a stronghold? A Stronghold is a satanic force that starts as a thought that lays its foundation in a person’s mind, builds itself up and makes its abode there. You can’t simply…

Some things will hinder you from having the mind of Christ, specifically, 3 things that you need to cast down. 1. Casting down imaginations (or thoughts) – The carnal mind is actively hostile and…

Belief in the Kingdom – Part 3

“For this reason I am telling you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe (trust and be confident) that it is granted to you, and you will [get it].” (Mark 11:24 – AMP)

Jesus made faith simple to get results in the Kingdom, all we have to do is believe that He has the power to deliver. Two blind men came to Him asking Him to restore…

Belief in the Kingdom – Part 2

“But without faith it is impossible to please and be satisfactory to Him. For whoever would come near to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He is the rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek Him [out].” (Hebrews 11:6 – AMP)

When we come to God, we must believe that He is and that He rewards those who diligently seek Him. The three Hebrew boys, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego were delivered from the fiery furnace…

Belief in the Kingdom – Part 1

“But what do you think? A man had two sons, and he came to the first and said, ‘Son, go, work today in my vineyard.’ 29 He answered and said, ‘I will not,’ but afterward he regretted it and went. 30 Then he came to the second and said likewise. And he answered and said, ‘I go, sir,’ but he did not go. 31 Which of the two did the will of his father?” They said to Him, “The first.” Jesus said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you that tax collectors and harlots enter the Kingdom of God before you. 32 For John came to you in the way of righteousness, and you did not believe him; but tax collectors and harlots believed him; and when you saw it, you did not afterward relent and believe.” (Matthew 21:28-32 – NKJV)

Many Christians are feeling the pressure of financial challenges and mounting financial lack on top of other problems can be overwhelming. Despite what we may be experiencing, we must continue to believe God’s Word.…

Trust in the Kingdom of God – Part 2

“People were bringing little children to Jesus for Him to place His hands on them, but the disciples rebuked them. 14 When Jesus saw this, He was indignant. He said to them, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these. 15 Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the Kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.” 16 And He took the children in His arms, placed His hands on them and Blessed them.” (Mark 10:13-16 – NIV)

God will make those who are last, first. Mark 10: 31 “But many [who are now] first will be last [then], and many [who are now] last will be first [then].” The poor will…
