The Power of Good Thinking – Part 4

Dr RJ Sing · 1 min read

“For as he thinks in his heart, so is he.”
(Proverbs 23:7 – AMP)

4. Changing your attitude, changes your behavior – Have you ever observed how your mood affects how you act? When you are happy, you are energized. Our emotions are the driving power of our lives.

What is an attitude? It is the advanced man of our true selves. Its root is inward but the fruit is outward. It is our best friend and worst enemy, its more honest and more consistent than our words, it’s an outward look based on past experiences and it is a thing which draws people to us or repels them. It’s never content until it is expressed, it is the librarian of our past, it is the speaker of our present and it is the prophet of our future. In a way, your behavior follows your attitude. How can you know what is in a person’s heart? Look at their behavior.

5. Changing your behavior, changes your performance – Sometimes, our challenges are that we want to stick to old methods, but want new results. Example: Golf stick – make the change, but change may feel awkward. So, if change does not feel uncomfortable, it may not be change.

6. Changing your performance, changes your life – That is what you do on a consistent basis, has the power to change your life. If you want to live on a new level, you have to think on a new level. So, let’s start by changing our minds.
