“Let this same attitude and purpose and [humble] mind be in you which was in Christ Jesus: [Let Him be your example in humility:] 6 Who, although being essentially one with God and in the form of God [possessing the fullness of the attributes which make God God], did not think this equality with God was a thing to be eagerly grasped or retained.”
What is a stronghold? A Stronghold is a satanic force that starts as a thought that lays its foundation in a person’s mind, builds itself up and makes its abode there. You can’t simply cast down a stronghold as you would a thought or imagination. You need the Word of God as a hammer in your life in order to tear down that stronghold and get it out of your system.
How do you get rid of a stronghold? By having a Strong Tower. Psalm 61:3 AMP “For You have been a shelter and a refuge for me, a strong tower against the adversary.” Proverbs 18:10 NKJV “The name of the Lord is a strong tower; The righteous run to it and are safe.” The Word of God and become so strong in your life, that it can demolish strongholds.
A stronghold is strong, but the Word of God is Stronger. You have to give place to the Word of God and you have to renew your mind and cast down wrong thoughts.
