2. Casting out devils – Strongholds can grow and turn into demonic activity in a person’s life, therefore, we have to know how to deal with the devil. Mark 16:17 NKJV “And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues.”
A child of God has the Authority in the Name of Jesus to cast out devils. If we are being harassed, oppressed or tormented by an evil spirit, we can take authority over it and cast it out. Sometimes, an evil spirit hinders our healing, therefore, begin to cast it out in the Name of Jesus because your body is the Temple of the Living God.
You must command him to leave God’s Property, then just continue in Faith and expect the answer. One of the signs that should follow the believer is the casting out of devils. Also, remember that some of our bad decisions and choices is due to the flesh. If you are a believer, you have devil casting power and also that, you cannot help someone who wants those devils operating in their lives (Acts 19:13-16). Jesus is the one who gives you the power to cast out devils. Therefore, we need to make up our minds to believe right and speak right, think right according to the Word.
