Faith Chronicles

A month of daily readings, written by Dr RJ Sing for his church every month from 2007 until his passing in 2024. Pastor Zubeda Sing wrote alongside him, and she continues them today. Each reading has its scripture, the teaching, a confession and the day's Bible reading plan.

In 2021 and 2022 he also wrote daily messages for believers in business and at work — the Marketplace, kept with the rest of his writing on his own site.

    The Power of Giving!

“And God [is] able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all [things], may abound to every good work” 2 Corinthians 9:8

The Power of sacrificial giving is revealed in 2 Corinthians 9:6-11. First, God will measure back to you with the same measure device you use when giving to Him. Second, God is looking for…

    Dream on!

“When the LORD turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream” Psalm 126:1

Restoration is such a biblical idea. The Bible is full of stories of broken lives, wrecked dreams and dashed hopes. In these stories, the power of Faith brings such a sudden turn around to…

The Banquet Table Is Spread for You!

“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children” Hosea 4:6

A story was told once a couple who had won a free trip on a cruise ship. They never appeared in the galley for steak and lobster. Instead they ate every meal in their…

    Help Is on the Way!

“My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions' mouths, that they have not hurt me” Daniel 6:22

Daniel’s final instance of supernatural deliverance is perhaps the most instructive. He was persecuted for righteousness’ sake even though ‘they could find no corruption in him, because he was trustworthy and neither corrupt nor…

    Our God Is Awesome!

“My flesh trembleth for fear of thee; and I am afraid of thy judgments.” Psalm 119:120

When the fingers of a human hand wrote on the plaster of the wall, King Belshazzar’s face turned pale and he was so frightened that his knees knocked together and his legs gave way.…

The Spirit of the Lord Is with You!

“And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD” Isaiah 11:2

Like the lampstand in the Tabernacle, the six branches represent the six facets of the Holy Spirit’s character (Isaiah 11:2). First, He is the Spirit of ‘Wisdom’, revealing to us His future purposes both…

The Seed must be left alone for the Harvest to Occur

Greetings to all my precious saints of God in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. This month I would like to share with you along the lines of “The Seed must be left alone for the Harvest to Occur” My Scripture reference is as follows: Matthew 6:1-2“1 Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.6:2 Therefore when thou doest [thine] alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward”

    God Is with Us!

“For God is with Us” Isaiah 8:10

‘God is with us’, Those four words strike terror in the heart of our enemies! How it must have disturbed hell the day the Lord gave the sign: ‘The virgin will be with child…

    Ten Benefits of Giving

“6 But this [I say], He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. 9:8 And God [is] able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all [things], may abound to every good work:” 2 Corinthians 9:6, 8

    Plant Seeds for Your Future!

“While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.” Genesis 8:22

When you give, you are sowing seeds of Faith for your future. Sometimes, when what you have in your hands is not enough to be your harvest. That is when you must translate that…

    Be a Consisitent Giver!

“12 But Moses' hands [were] heavy; and they took a stone, and put [it] under him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun.17:13 And Joshua discomfited Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword.” Ecclesiastics 11:1

You can become a Blessing to your Church and that is in the area of giving. This of course is done in many different ways. When you get involved in being a Blessing to…
