Jesus’s Peace

The King of glory is almost about to go to the cross and be crucified, yet he takes the time out to leave us His peace. The kind of peace that establishes our hearts with confidence, knowing that this Savior of ours is more than able to do the impossible. He literally says, do not consider the kind of peace of the world as anything valuable or anything that would benefit our lives. The world’s peace brought fear and intimidation, neutralizing your faith.

So, Jesus says, do not be afraid. There is no fear in the peace Jesus gives to us. We need to keep our minds fixed on this peace so we are not overwhelmed by the fear the world creates around us. Jesus paid for this peace with his life. This is the peace that develops roots in our life that nurtures the fruit of the spirit in our life. This peace is a gift from Jesus himself. Embrace it and own it, it is yours for the taking.

The thriver spends time in the word of God and in fellowship with the Holy Spirit so this peace of Jesus, becomes armor in the midst of the most trying challenges. Take a hold of this peace for your good life.
