Faith Chronicles

A month of daily readings, written by Dr RJ Sing for his church every month from 2007 until his passing in 2024. Pastor Zubeda Sing wrote alongside him, and she continues them today. Each reading has its scripture, the teaching, a confession and the day's Bible reading plan.

In 2021 and 2022 he also wrote daily messages for believers in business and at work — the Marketplace, kept with the rest of his writing on his own site.

    God Is Your Shepherd

“He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young.” Isaiah 40:11

Many times we see pictures of Shepherds holding little lambs in their arms. As a Shepherd takes care of his flock, so does God take care of His family. Many times in life, we…

God Takes Care of His Children

“Remember his marvellous works that he hath done; his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth; O ye seed of Abraham his servant, ye children of Jacob his chosen. He is the LORD our God: his judgments are in all the earth” Psalm 105:5, 7

The Psalmist urges people to remember God’s miracles and judgments. He assures them that God will keep His covenant with them forever. The Prophet Ezekiel paints a beautiful picture of God as a caring…

    I Am Doing His Will

“Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.” John 4:34

When Jesus was on earth, he was very focused. He was determined to complete His assignment from God, and you should be, too! Look at what Jesus said, “My meat is to do His…

I Am the Sheep of His Pasture

“Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing. Know ye that the LORD he [is] God: [it is] he [that] hath made us, and not we ourselves; [we are] his people, and the sheep of his pasture.” Psalm 100:2-3

You belong to God and are the sheep of His pasture. He is your Shepherd. That is why the Scripture declares; serve the Lord with gladness, for He has made us. When you think…

    Pray Easy, Not Hard

“If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.” John 14:14

You can have your prayers answered immediately. It all depends where you see yourself in standing with God. In Mark 4:35-39, Jesus spoke to the wind and said ‘Peace, be still’, and immediately the…

I Will Not Allow the Devil to Separate Me

“Behold, how good and how pleasant [it is] for brethren to dwell together in unity!” Psalm 133:1

This Scripture carries such wisdom. A united front is always harder to defeat than a divided one. Don’t allow the devil to separate you from other believers through offence. Stay in the Word and…

I Set My Heart on Things Above

As a believer you are pressing forward in the things of God. Every day is an adventure in faith. With each passing day, you are letting the past be the past. Stop dwelling on…
