Faith Chronicles

A month of daily readings, written by Dr RJ Sing for his church every month from 2007 until his passing in 2024. Pastor Zubeda Sing wrote alongside him, and she continues them today. Each reading has its scripture, the teaching, a confession and the day's Bible reading plan.

In 2021 and 2022 he also wrote daily messages for believers in business and at work — the Marketplace, kept with the rest of his writing on his own site.

The Spirit’s Clear Mandate to Apostle Paul

Pastor Zubeda Sing

“But when God, who had chosen me and set me apart before I was born, and called me through His grace, was pleased to reveal His Son in me so that I might preach Him among the Gentiles [as the good news—the way of salvation], I did not immediately consult with anyone [for guidance regarding God’s call and His revelation to me]. Nor did I [even] go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me; but I went to Arabia and stayed awhile, and afterward returned once more to Damascus” Gal 1 v15-17

What Does It Mean to Fully Believe? – Part 3

“You can never please God without faith, without depending on him. Anyone who wants to come to God must believe that there is a God and that he rewards those who sincerely look for him.” (Hebrews 11:6)

You must believe that God is a rewarder of them that diligently seeks Him. Believe that it is the Will of God, to give what He has promised. 1 John 3:22 “Afterwards Jesus and…

What Does It Mean to Fully Believe? – Part 2

“On the last day, the climax of the holidays, Jesus shouted to the crowds, if anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink. 38 For the Scriptures declare that rivers of living water shall flow from the inmost being of anyone who believes in Me. 39 He was speaking of the Holy Spirit, who would be given to everyone believing in Him; but the Spirit had not yet been given, because Jesus had not yet returned to His Glory in Heaven.” (John 7: 37-39)

We are to believe that all the promises of God are Yea and Amen! This is what it means to fully believe. 2 Corinthians 1:20 NKJV “For all the promises of God in Him…

What Does It Mean to Fully Believe? – Part 1

“We boldly say what we believe, trusting God to care for us, just as the psalm writer did when he said, I believe and therefore I speak.” (2 Corinthians 4:13)

We are to walk and operate fully in the realm of faith. And as you believe with your heart you will be tested. This is when you take the Word and launch your counter…

    You Are Not to Hesitate

“But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. 7 For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; 8 he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.” (James 1:6-8 – NKJV)

Most Christians seem to hesitate about everything. It seems sometimes that non followers of Christ are more defensive, go for more opportunities and even jump through open doors. We are to let go off…

Your Trust Must Be in God

“We dare to say these good things about ourselves only because of our great trust in God through Christ, that He will help us to be true to what we say.” (2 Corinthians 3:4)

The word trust can be described as follows: the belief that a person or thing can be trusted, being truth worthy or strong or to be relied upon. We need to go to a…

    You Are a Giant Killer

“But thanks be to God! For through what Christ has done, He has triumphed over us so that now wherever we go He uses us to tell others about the Lord and to spread the Gospel like a sweet perfume.” (2 Corinthians 2:14)

You have been Anointed by God to do Great and Awesome things. So when problems come, what do you do? How do you overcome problems that are so stubborn, that they refuse to go…

    You Are to Be Consistent

“At dawn of the seventh day they started out again, but this time they went around the city not once, but seven times. The seventh time, as the priests blew a long, loud trumpet blast, Joshua yelled to the people, "Shout! The Lord has given us the city!” (Joshua 6:15-16)

To get a clear picture of what took place when Jericho was captured, we have to read the entire account in the book of Joshua 6:5-16. Here we find that both Joshua and the…

You Are to Lay Aside Every Weight – Part 1

“Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us.” (Hebrew 12:1 – NKJV)

The Word of God instructs us to lay aside every weight. In other words, turn away from distractions and focus on Jesus, the author and finisher of our Faith. Hebrew 12:2-5 NKJV “Looking unto…

    Do Not Waver

“For truly, let not such a person imagine that he will receive anything [he asks for] from the Lord.” (James 1:7 – AMP)

No matter what confronts you, refuse to waver. God has nothing for the man/ woman who wavers. God delights in His People who rest upon His Word without doubting. Begin to believe because all…

Key No 4: Be Aggressive – Don’t give up when you see opposition and winds of adversity. All you focus on is sowing, harvesting and then talking. Talk your way into Victory. Consider the…

    Confessing Faith

“I can do all things through Christ Who strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13 – NKJV)

The Lord has showed me that many Christians, if they looked back on their pasts, would admit to having made a series of negative confessions. You may have talked about what you couldn’t do…

    My Specific Place

“For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.” (Romans 12:3 – NKJV)

Jesus said that if we have “faith as a mustard seed,” we can move a mountain. It is not the quantity of your Faith, but rather the quality, that matters. Faith is given to…
