You Are a Giant Killer

“But thanks be to God! For through what Christ has done, He has triumphed over us so that now wherever we go He uses us to tell others about the Lord and to spread the Gospel like a sweet perfume.”
You have been Anointed by God to do Great and Awesome things. So when problems come, what do you do? How do you overcome problems that are so stubborn, that they refuse to go away? How do you kill giants? Well the answer is that you stand on the Covenant you have with Almighty God! That’s how when David stood before the Israelite army and called the Giant an ‘uncircumcised Philistine’, he knew exactly what he was saying.
Circumcision was the mark of the Covenant between the Israelites and God. David knew all about the Covenant, God’s unbreakable promise. He knew the scripture and knew what was said in Deuteronomy 28:7. God said, “They (your enemies) will come from one direction but flee from you in seven”. David trusted in His God. He believed that promise that God had made. He was not moved by what his physical eyes saw. His heart was fixed. He would not be moved. He knew that he had a Covenant with God, and it changed the way he looked at things.
Goliath was no problem to him. So when you focus your attention on God’s promises to you, everything changes. So go ahead and kill some giants in Jesus Name! You too have a Covenant with God.
