Fight the Good Fight of Faith

As we journey through life, we will face many challenges, hardships and sometimes even sickness. We have been equipped to handle every challenge. We have the name of Jesus, we have the blood of Jesus and we have the word of God. Each of us has been given a measure of faith so we grow from weak faith to great faith. We are seated with Christ in heavenly places but we live here on earth. Jesus said to his father before he left, I am not asking you to take them out of the world but I need you to protect them whilst they are in the world. We are in the world but not of the world. We will constantly have a fight on our hands. We need to fight to keep our place against the strategies of the devil.

The word of God says, many are the afflictions of the righteous, but God, delivers them from them all. This means God has his eye on us, but he has equipped us to handle the day to day battles that we have to face. We can stand strong when sickness comes, we declare boldly that we are healed and we consistently guard against sickness and disease. We commit our health to the Lord and He will sustain us with long and healthy life. The Holy Spirit will teach us how to eat and when we are out of line, He will convict us. The sickness may not go away easily but you have to stand firm on the word and declare you are healed in Jesus name. The secret is to never become comfortable or complacent in the sickness. It is not your portion in this life. You have to fight.

In the case of lack and insufficiency, you refuse to accept it. God is your provider and source of income and strength. You speak to every situation and command lack to go. You sow seed into the kingdom of God and be faithful in your giving and seed sowing. You will know no lack, because the word says, as you sow, you will reap. Fight for your increase and overflow with your faith and your confession of the word.

Stand and fight this good fight of faith. You have much ground to cover and great victories to be won.
