Faith Chronicles

A month of daily readings, written by Dr RJ Sing for his church every month from 2007 until his passing in 2024. Pastor Zubeda Sing wrote alongside him, and she continues them today. Each reading has its scripture, the teaching, a confession and the day's Bible reading plan.

In 2021 and 2022 he also wrote daily messages for believers in business and at work — the Marketplace, kept with the rest of his writing on his own site.

“Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.” 1 John 5:1

What does it mean to be Born of God? It is to have God’s life, God’s Truth and His nature in us. It is communion, fellowship and like-mindedness with God. It is through the…

    Gods Righteousness

“For he hath made him [to be] sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” 2 Corinthians 5:21

God made Jesus, who knew no sin, to be sin for us, that we might be made the righteousness of God in Jesus. There was an exchange that took place. Jesus was made sin…

    A God Like You

“Who [is] a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger forever, because he delighteth [in] mercy. He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.” Micah 7:18-19 NIV

This is such a Beautiful Scripture. When God forgives, He does not do so partially. He totally forgives you. Everything that you have ever done wrong, everything that could ever make you feel guilty,…

    You Have Security in Christ

“He who believes in Him [who clings to, trusts in, relies on Him] is not judged [he who trusts in Him never comes up for judgment; for him there is no rejection, no condemnation-he incurs no damnation]; but he who does not believe (cleave to, rely on, trust in Him) is judged already [he has already been convicted and has already received his sentence] because he has not believed in and trusted in the name of the only begotten Son of God. [He is condemned for refusing to let his trust rest in Christ's name.” John 3:18 Amplified

What does this mean? Simply that for those who believe there is no condemnation and rejection. You can never be defeated by condemnation and rejection if you believe. Only those who reject Christ are…

    You Are Loved by Him

“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? [shall] tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.” Romans 8:35-37

Start working with the Lord to build your security in Him. Learn how to become uprooted from all the wrong things & to be replanted in all the right things. When you are insecure…

    You Are Chosen by Him

“[Thou] whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, and called thee from the chief men thereof, and said unto thee, Thou [art] my servant; I have chosen thee, and not cast thee away. Fear thou not; for I [am] with thee: be not dismayed; for I [am] thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” Isaiah 41:9-10

While dealing with the Subject of Rejection, let us look at Insecurity. What is insecurity? It is a psychological disturbance that is now of epidemic proportions. Many people in the world today are insecure.…

    The Truth About Rejection (1)

“There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him ” John 3:1-2

When you feel rejected and unwanted, dwell and think about the Love of the Father. The Father has bestowed great love on you and He even calls you “Children of God” and “Sons of…
