Peace That Breeds Creativity
Pastor Zubeda Sing · 2 min read

“You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you!”
Perfect peace is expressed in Hebrew by shalom, shalom, a Hebrew method of putting great emphasis on a word. You will keep him in everything the word shalom implies: health, happiness, well-being, peace. The word translated mind is not the usual Hebrew word, but a word meaning “creative imagination.” Isaiah’s thought is that those whose creative imaginations, the seat of plans and ideas, are firmly founded on the eternal Lord will enjoy shalom in all its implications.
Imagine that, in order to get our creative juices going, we need to spend time in the presence of God where the word penetrates our hearts and minds and makes us enter in to a state of creative imagination, the seat of plans and ideas. This is the benefit of spending time in the presence of God. the result of it will be uncommon ideas that will affect our market and customers. Problems that seem impossible will also seem like an anthill as opposed to the mountain we seem to think it is, why? Creativity and wisdom go hand in hand.
Who is wise and understanding among you? Let them show it by their good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom and the peace of God that is obtained or inherited in keeping your mind fixed on the Lord.
The Thriver insists on living in the peace of God so their productivity and efficiency is enhanced just by being connected to the Father and his presence.
