A Guarded Heart

Our hearts is the control centre of every thought and desire. Whatever we hold in our hearts will eventually be spoken in a conversation we have or when we are angry. The bible says, out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. We must allow the Holy spirit to take charge of our hearts. Our words are so powerful, hence we need the Holy spirit to help guard our words.

“My thoughts are the thoughts of the diligent, which tend only to plenteousness. So I don’t worry about anything; instead, I pray about everything. I tell You, Father, what I need and thank You for all You have done. The peace of God, which transcends “all understanding, will guard my heart and my mind in Christ Jesus.

I fix my thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. I think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. In my heart I Meditate on the word that enriches my heart and mind.

Today I roll my works upon You, Lord—I commit and trust them wholly to You. You cause my thoughts to become agreeable to Your will, and so my plans are established and succeed.

I thank you Father for a fruitful and peaceful heart. I am content in you so my heart only brings forth good words and fruitful conversations.
