My Protected Life

The secret place is not a hiding place for the fearful. It is the dwelling place of people who have made up their minds about who God is. David does not say he hopes the Lord will be his refuge. He says, I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress. Protection begins with what comes out of your mouth about your God.

Our homes, our children, our going out and our coming in are covered by a covenant that was paid for with blood. Please do not leave that covering unspoken. Say it over your family this morning and every morning, and refuse every report that contradicts it. We dwell under the shadow of the Almighty, and nothing comes near our dwelling without passing Him first.
