Faith Chronicles

A month of daily readings, written by Dr RJ Sing for his church every month from 2007 until his passing in 2024. Pastor Zubeda Sing wrote alongside him, and she continues them today. Each reading has its scripture, the teaching, a confession and the day's Bible reading plan.

In 2021 and 2022 he also wrote daily messages for believers in business and at work — the Marketplace, kept with the rest of his writing on his own site.

The Spirit’s Clear Mandate to Apostle Paul

Pastor Zubeda Sing

“But when God, who had chosen me and set me apart before I was born, and called me through His grace, was pleased to reveal His Son in me so that I might preach Him among the Gentiles [as the good news—the way of salvation], I did not immediately consult with anyone [for guidance regarding God’s call and His revelation to me]. Nor did I [even] go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me; but I went to Arabia and stayed awhile, and afterward returned once more to Damascus” Gal 1 v15-17

    Jesus Bore the Poverty Curse

“NOW ABRAHAM was old, well advanced in years, and the Lord had Blessed Abraham in all things.” (Genesis 24:1 – AMP)

Jesus bore the poverty curse, which is presented in its most absolute form in Deuteronomy 28:48. Some years ago, while I was preaching on the theme of God’s financial provision, I received a revelation…

    You Have His Abundance

“The Blessing of the Lord makes one rich, and He adds no sorrow with it.” (Proverbs 10:22 – NKJV)

Having poverty means having “hunger…thirst…nakedness...and being in need of everything’ (Deuteronomy 28:48) When exactly did Jesus become poor? He began to become poor the moment He was identified with our sins. From that moment…

    Meeting God’s Conditions

“There are those who [generously] scatter abroad, and yet increase more; there are those who withhold more than is fitting or what is justly due, but it results only in want.” (Proverbs 11:24 – AMP)

We must make an important, logical distinction between earning God’s Grace, which is impossible, and meeting God’s conditions, which is obligatory. We cannot earn God’s abundance, which comes only through Grace; however, we are…

    Enjoying the Blessing

“The blessing of the Lord—it makes [truly] rich, and He adds no sorrow with it [neither does toiling increase it].” (Proverbs 10:22 – AMP)

Let’s look at the list of curses in Deuteronomy 28. Read this entire chapter for yourself, considering whether you are enjoying a blessing or enduring a curse. If we are redeemed children of God,…

    Be a Radical Giver

“Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn others, or it will all come back against you. Forgive others, and you will be forgiven. 38 Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full—pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back.” (Luke 6:37-38 – NLT)

It is no accident that the Word ‘forgive’ comes from the word ‘give’. Jesus taught both principles together. ‘Forgive, and you will be forgiven. Give, and it will be given to you’ (Luke 6:37-38)…

    An Opportunity to Increase

“And Jesus replied, "Let me assure you that no one has ever given up anything--home, brothers, sisters, mother, father, children, or property--for love of me and to tell others the Good News, 30 who won't be given back, a hundred times over, homes, brothers, sisters, mothers, children, and land--with persecutions! "All these will be his here on earth, and in the world to come he shall have eternal life.” (Mark 10:29-30)

Money is a central heart issue in the Gospel. The rich young ruler (Mark 10:17) made a profession of Faith, but his money did not follow. Promises of love and discipleship to Jesus are…

    Believe for Supernatural Blessing

“He said to them, Because of the littleness of your faith [that is, your lack of firmly relying trust]. For truly I say to you, if you have faith [that is living] like a grain of mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, Move from here to yonder place, and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you.” (Matthew 17:20 – AMP)

Could you have Faith to fish for your tax money? Jesus received a word from God that somewhere down in the depths of the Sea of Galilee was an unusual fish. Most fish must…

    The Best Belongs to You

“Also do not look with regret or concern upon your goods, for the best of all the land of Egypt is yours.” (Genesis 45:20 – AMP)

Never mind about your belongings, because the best of all Egypt will be yours. (Genesis 45:20) Joseph instructed his brothers to inform their Father to totally disregard his own possessions and come to Egypt.…

    Receiving After Sowing

“Honor the Lord with your capital and sufficiency [from righteous labors] and with the firstfruits of all your income; 10 so shall your storage places be filled with plenty, and your vats shall be overflowing with new wine.” (Proverbs 3:9-10 – AMP)

You are not going to have your barns filled with plenty unless you do the first line, ‘Honor the Lord with thy substance’, this means that according to how the Lord prospers you, you…

Making Major Life Choices – Part 3

“Then Lot chose for himself all the plain of Jordan, and Lot journeyed east. And they separated from each other. 12 Abram dwelt in the land of Canaan, and Lot dwelt in the cities of the plain and pitched his tent even as far as Sodom. 13 But the men of Sodom were exceedingly wicked and sinful against the Lord.” (Genesis 13:11-13 – NKJV)

Abraham gave the Lord what was due to Him. 2 Corinthians 9:8 “God is able to make it up to you by giving you everything you need and more so that there will not…

God’s Principles for True Wealth – Part 11

“Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much. 11 So if you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches? 12 And if you have not been trustworthy with someone else's property, who will give you property of your own?” (Luke 16:10-12 – NIV)

    6. We were commanded to be fruitful. Without money, our ability to bear kingdom fruit is minimal – Luke 13:6-9. 7. A Christian is a giver and in wealth. The Blessing of the righteous…
