Faith Chronicles

A month of daily readings, written by Dr RJ Sing for his church every month from 2007 until his passing in 2024. Pastor Zubeda Sing wrote alongside him, and she continues them today. Each reading has its scripture, the teaching, a confession and the day's Bible reading plan.

In 2021 and 2022 he also wrote daily messages for believers in business and at work — the Marketplace, kept with the rest of his writing on his own site.

The Spirit’s Clear Mandate to Apostle Paul

Pastor Zubeda Sing

“But when God, who had chosen me and set me apart before I was born, and called me through His grace, was pleased to reveal His Son in me so that I might preach Him among the Gentiles [as the good news—the way of salvation], I did not immediately consult with anyone [for guidance regarding God’s call and His revelation to me]. Nor did I [even] go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me; but I went to Arabia and stayed awhile, and afterward returned once more to Damascus” Gal 1 v15-17

    Thankful for Health and Healing

“Who forgives all your sins, Who heals all your diseases;” Psalm 103v3

    Thankful for Jesus

“Simon Peter replied, “You are the Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed), the Son of the living God.” Then Jesus answered him, “Blessed [happy, spiritually secure, favored by God] are you, Simon son of Jonah, because flesh and blood (mortal man) did not reveal this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. And I say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church; and the gates of Hades (death) will not overpower it [by preventing the resurrection of the Christ].” Matthew 16v16-18

A blessed and wonderful Christmas to you. Jesus in your life makes your life full and wonderful. Jesus brings peace and joy into your life. We are no longer the same, our…

Thank you for the Breastplate of Righteousness

“So stand firm and hold your ground, HAVING TIGHTENED THE WIDE BAND OF TRUTH (personal integrity, moral courage) AROUND YOUR WAIST and HAVING PUT ON THE BREASTPLATE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS (an upright heart),” Ephesians 6v14

We are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. We have been clothed with righteousness. Jesus died and rose again that we might have life, free from sin and disease. Si…

    Thankful for Salvation

“For you [who are born-again have been reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, sanctified and] are all children of God [set apart for His purpose with full rights and privileges] through faith in Christ Jesus. For all of you who were baptized into Christ [into a spiritual union with the Christ, the Anointed] have clothed yourselves with Christ [that is, you have taken on His characteristics and values]. There is [now no distinction in regard to salvation] neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you [who believe] are all one in Christ Jesus [no one can claim a spiritual superiority]. And if you belong to Christ [if you are in Him], then you are Abraham’s descendants, and [spiritual] heirs according to [God’s] promise.” Galatians 3v26

We are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Jesus came and died for us, he came to give us eternal life. Every sin that was committed or ever will be committed has b…

    Joyful Decision Making

“And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord, And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour. For he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed. For he that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy is his name.” Luke 1v46

Mary was an unmarried virgin who was approached by God to bring the saviour of the world into the world. He needed someone pure and willing to do this and Mary fit the bi…

    Jesus Gave

“And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body. And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying,” Matthew 26v26

When you go through the gospels, it will amaze you at how many times Jesus gave, he gave of himself, he gave his love, he gave his compassion. He taught his disciples, he…

    Recognising Greatness

“And it fell on a day, that Elisha passed to Shunem, where was a great woman; and she constrained him to eat bread. And so it was, that as oft as he passed by, he turned in thither to eat bread. And she said unto her husband, Behold now, I perceive that this is an holy man of God, which passeth by us continually. Let us make a little chamber, I pray thee, on the wall; and let us set for him there a bed, and a table, and a stool, and a candlestick: and it shall be, when he cometh to us, that he shall turn in thither. And it fell on a day, that he came thither, and he turned into the chamber, and lay there. And he said to Gehazi his servant, Call this Shunammite. And when he had called her, she stood before him. And he said unto him, Say now unto her, Behold, thou hast been careful for us with all this care; what is to be done for thee?” 2 Kings 4v8

This Shunammite woman was regarded as a great woman, yet in all her greatness, she was able to perceive that this was a holy man of God. She had no need of money or any m…

    Be Passionate for Souls

““Go into the world. Go everywhere and announce the Message of God’s good news to one and all. Whoever believes and is baptized is saved; whoever refuses to believe is damned.” Mark 16v15-16

Salvation was a gift from Jesus, it was free, however we have been commissioned to go out into all the world and win the lost. Jesus came to seek and save the lost.

    No Condemnation

“So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus. And because you belong to him, the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you from the power of sin that leads to death.” Romans 8v1

The bible says, if we sin, we must confess our sins and God forgives us and cleanses us from all unrighteousness. We need to be righteousness conscious and not sin consci…

    Jesus the Anointed One

“The high priest stood up and came forward and asked Jesus, “Have You no answer to give [in response] to what these men are testifying against You?” But Jesus kept silent and gave no answer at all. Again the high priest was questioning Him, and saying to Him, “Are You the Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed), the Son of the Blessed One?” Jesus said, “I am; and you will [all] see THE SON OF MAN SEATED [with authority] AT THE RIGHT HAND OF POWER (the Father), and COMING WITH THE CLOUDS OF HEAVEN.” Mark 14v60

We who have received Jesus Christ as our Lord and saviour, now have Jesus as our Lord and anointed one, this anointing abides in us. This anointing lives on the inside of…

    The Love of God

“For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.” John 3v16

God’s love for us is immeasurable, it just cannot be measured. He loved us even before we were born, in fact, even before we were in our mother’s womb. He planned our liv…
